Kitty died peacefully in the early morning hours today, daughter-in-law by her side, as she had been all night. I asked son if he'd like me to take kitty's body to the vet for cremation. His reply was "Not today. We let them 'lie in state' for a bit." I'm positive he did not learn that from us so can only assume that is something daughter-in-law does. I learned a lot through this experience.
From what I've read post VP debate, name brand conservatives heard enough from Pense for them to pronounce conservatism alive and well, no changes needed. Trump will be quickly forgotten, and conservatism will continue to be the answer to the country's problems.
I'm not at all surprised by that argument. I will be very surprised if it proves to be true.
