It Snowed

It actually happened, the snow really came. We don't get a lot of snow so it's newsworthy when it happens.  It began to fall about bedtime last night and fell all night.

We woke up to a winter wonderland this morning. I don't know how to measure snow but I'd say about six inches.

Son rode the train into Portland and texted to say he's made it.

This is how Bob is spending the day. He's either at the patio door or the front door. His newspaper wasn't delivered today which is a very big deal to him. He's made many trips out front looking for it. The rest of the time he stands at the patio door.

  1. That looks like wet, heavy snow, the worst for getting around on the roads. Hope Bob gets his paper tomorrow.

  2. I understand about the newspaper. Poor delivery schedule is one of the reason that we now have an online subscription to our local paper.

  3. For you guys snow is a big deal. here, we deal with it on a continuous basis. We are equipped to handle it but still must be extremely careful.

  4. I have been hearing about your snow. I have family in the general area. Bob does look rather desolate. I wonder what he's thinking, besides "Where's my paper?"

  5. Since it's so unusual for you to have snow, I'm sorry Bob can't just enjoy it...which means you can't enjoy it either.

  6. I'd probably stand at the door looking out too! Snow is rare here as you well know! Deserves our rapt attention!

  7. What a pretty snow. We don't get much either so I would be like Bob with my nose to the window and wearing a big grin.

  8. That first photo is splendid. I do so love a nice snow. The only thing better than looking at it is walking in it, so I understand those impulses stirring in Bob.
