Exciting New Chair

The Mac Sports Folding Cane Chair arrived today.

Unfolded. Note it has four legs which makes it more steady than a tripod.

Nice height. You can see the cane handle to Bob's right which is helpful as you sit or stand. Also has a strap that allows you to carry it over your shoulder. Light weight. I expect to also use this handy gadget because I have trouble standing for long periods of time.

We are pleased with this product.

This political season has been difficult for me because I was not a supporter of Hillary. I don't hate Hillary, I just think the Clintons have been on stage for too long. Neither was I a supporter of Bernie.

Last evening I watched the full 75 minutes of  Donald Trump's acceptance speech. That sent me scurrying right into the lap of Hillary.

I had no doubt I was watching and listening to the ravings of a mad man who's lost touch with reality.

I will now vote for Hillary with much more enthusiasm than before I heard Trump's speech.

  1. I have not seen a four legged cane chair before, only the three legged kind. It does look much more stable. I love that it has a strap to carry over your shoulder. I'm impressed.

I watched the entire convention but I just finished writing about it for my tomorrow's blog so I'll just say here, that that guy really is scary!

    1. I'm counting on using the cane chair for both of us. The Republican convention was beyond anything I've ever witnessed.

    1. I always knew I would vote for Hillary, just not with any enthusiasm. She looks really good to me now. I'm a party person so I always vote a straight Democrat ticket. If confronted with a Democrat as nutty as Donald Trump I would leave the top of the ticket blank and vote straight Democrat down the ticket. The offices down the ticket are just as important as the top of the ticket.

  3. I like that cane chair too!
As you know I am a political junkie and I watched all of three nights of the RNC and a bit of Monday after we got back home. It was hate filled fear mongering to the extreme.
I have always been a Hillary supporter, but that doesn't mean I was glad that she ran this time around. I understand Clinton fatigue and I was hoping for some an exciting fresh new face, but that was not to be. Bernie was not that face. Now I am afraid we are in for much nastiness, and Clinton haters are legion and truth and fact mean nothing to them.
Not only do we need to elect HRC, but we need a congress she can work with. Even if folks do not want to vote for a presidential choice, we need down ballot votes.

    1. I would be less than honest if I said I did not fear and dread the next four years if Hillary wins but I fear and dread those years more if Trump wins. The Republicans lost their party when they became so obsessed hating the Clintons that they took their eyes off what was happening inside their own party. Now they're in a mess and consequently so are we.

  4. The new chair is clever. First time I've seen such a thing. I'm for Hillary, have been all along, but if she wins-and I sure hope she does-Republicans will be ruthless. With either candidate, I dread what's ahead.

    1. I never doubted I would vote for Hillary, I just wasn't excited about it. Now I will eagerly cast my vote for her. The Republican party has completely gone off the rails now.

  5. That is one nifty chair.

I'm tired of hearing pundits and politicians talk about his "temperament." In this case, temperament is only a euphemism for crazy - unbalanced. I'm astounded everyday that someone like him is so close to the White House. It has made me question everything about how this came about.

    1. I lost my naiveté during the Bush administration that lawmakers went to Washington to work for the good of our country and it's citizens. I learned that was not true and the situation with Trump confirms that.

  6. The new chair seems to have met with his approval. Wonderful.
I can only hope that his speech sent a LOT of undecideds into the Hillary camp. That would make it his best speech ever.

    1. Today I heard a few minutes of Tim Kaine's speech and he is awesome. I'm very excited to have him as Hillary's VP choice. What a contrast from what Americans heard from the Republican Convention.

  7. Bob looks like a happy camper:-)

Hillary picked a winner with Tim Kaine. Reasonable, sane, smart, just like Hillary. What a contrast to Trump!

  8. My knees get achey when I have to stand for too long. I also like the idea of the sling to carry it around. I'll be curious to hear how it fairs in real life use.
