This morning I looked at my calendar and realized it's less than a week until daughter will be arriving for Thanksgiving. I need to get busy. Also received Christmas list from 14 year old grandson. That took only a few minutes to order. All stuff that's totally foreign to me.
This morning reading TGB I read that the Oxford Dictionaries announced the international "word of the year." It's a hyphenated word this time, "post-truth," an adjective. The official definition as it will appear in the dictionaries:
""Relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief.""
You can read about why it was chosen at the Oxford Dictionaries website."
It makes me sad to think we need such a word added to our dictionaries.
I think this is a good time for me to take a break and clear the cobwebs from my brain. I'll still be around commenting on your blogs and will see you again after the holidays.
