Things are looking up. Today our high will be 67 degrees, that's my kind of weather. A little early to feel fall in the air but I can pretend. I love this kind of weather. Woke up to a little fog and drizzle (Oregon sunshine) which was great.
Took Bob in for a medical appointment at 9:00 a.m. then went on to get haircuts for both of us.
We're back home and hoping to collect ourselves again after the events of this past week.
I've been thinking about a press subject we've not been seeing much about, presidential hair styles. Barack Obama's hair looks the same every day. That will not be the case if Hillary Clinton becomes president. Her hair will be the subject of a lot of talk.
I've had my own issues with Hillary's hair through the years. For all her many talents I don't think she was gifted with hair styling. I seriously doubt there's going to be a line item budget for daily styling of the president's hair.
I was embarrassed for her some of the time she was Secretary of State. I wondered why Bill or Chelsea didn't take her aside and say "you need a haircut and style."
We can tell by pictures of her as a young woman that hair is just not that important in her world but I'm afraid it's going to have to become important. I don't think presidents are allowed to have bad hair days.
I don't think I've ever seen a woman that hair style made so much difference. When her hair is fixed she looks vibrant and alive, when her hair is not styled she looks much older than her years and sick.
This is another area where women are judged and men are not. What do you think about presidential hair styles.
